Born and brought up on the coast of North Norfolk, the artist Mary Gundry has always lived in East Anglia. She is now based six miles from Southwold and Walberswick, and continues to have a deep-rooted love of the beach and the traditions that go with it - buckets and spades, sandcastles, windbreaks, beach huts, picnics and paddling. Mary runs The Little Gallery in nearby Halesworth with her photographer partner Colin Huggins.

Figurative work in watercolours or oil paints are her speciality, as you will see from the scroller above. Mary also produces prints of selected items of her work and a small range of greeting cards. Her calendar is also popular.
