Michael Simpson is an unusual sculptor in that his body of work spans a variety of different subjects. He enjoys working on several pieces at the same time, moving from one to the next as inspiration dictates. Michael has a unique ability to design extremely accurately and yet with a loose contemporary feel making his style easily recognised and much appreciated by collectors.

Each sculpture had been cast using the "lost wax" method and is finished by the traditional process of patination. It is sealed with a protective wax which preserves and enhances the rich layers of patina applied to the surface.
